Northern Ride ~ 2022

 
Northern ride being plan since last year, we have finally conclude and make it a 4D3N riding trip exclude Penang island. Objective for this trip is to explore all Thailand / Malaysia border and KM0.
 
Many Malaysian still not sure how many Thailand / Malaysia land border we have. Malaysia and Thailand have a land boundary of approximate 600km across peninsular Malaysia, stretch over 4 Malaysian states (Perlis, Kedah, Perak, kelantan) and 4 Thai provinces (Satun, Songkhla, Yala, Narathiwat).

Group breakfast in Denai Alam, depart 0830 for 1st day
 
Here are the planing for 1st day, Denai Alam, Bestari, Sekinchang, Sabak, Setiawan then lunch at Pantai Remis, then terong and enter Taiping highway to Juru. Reason is to avoid traffic lights in the coastal road. Drop by swing bridge and Butterworth KM0 and continue to Sungai Petani, Pulau Bunting, Kuala kedah, Kuala Perlis, Kangar hen Padang Besar,

Prai river swing bridge, is a double track railway bridge across Prai River to Penang. 
A 90 meter bridge which design and build such can turn sideways to allow ship to pass through.

Persisir pantai paling utara is one of the northernmost point of peninsular Malaysia.





Thailand border line is just 200 meter from here.

West Temenggor Bridge

 
Belum Temenggor is the largest continuous forest complex located in Perak. This world's 
oldest rain forest believed to have been in existence for over 130 millions years.

Titiwangsa R&R View Point , great for view and short break before continue cooling journey to Jeli.
