Mount Kinabalu Trip, 2022

Mt. Kinabalu Trail

Mount Kinabalu (Malay : Gunung Kinabalu) at 4,095 meter (13, 435 ft) is the tallest point in Malaysia. Mount Kinabalu is also the highest mountain in SE Asia. It is one of the easiest 4,000 meter peaks to climb in the world. Mount Kinabalu located in Borneo of Malaysia, west cost of Sabah, Malaysia, is parts of the Crocker Range.

Mount Kinabalu is protected as Kinabalu Parks, a world Heritage Site and accorded as UNESCO World Heritage status. This mountain is surrounding 6,000 special of flora 300 species of birds and 100 species of wildlife. Rafflesia, the giant flower of the world and orangutan are the rare species of plant and wildlife can be found in this rain forest.

G12 is my check list since young, have planed this for years and finally conquered the tallest summit on 14th June 2022. So i have only done Mt Tahan and Mt Kinabulu both are the tallest mountain in Peninsular and Borneo of Malaysia. There is still another 10 mountain to conquer to complete my check list. Even though Mt Kinabalu is clasify as the easier 4,000 meter peaks to climb but mental and physical are still need to be fit for the whole journey.
