Baked Ipoh Salt Chicken (盐焗鸡)

 

 

Baked Method Ipoh salt chicken 盐焗鸡 is easily ready with the Mix Spice available in the market. 

Serving              : 3 to 4 person

Marinate            : 3 hours or over night    

Preparation        : 15 minutes

Cook                  :  60 minutes

 

Ingredients

2 pc large chicken drumstick

1/2 pack of Ipoh Salted Chicken Spices Mix (15g)

4 slices Dong Quai 当归 (Angelica Sinensis) 

Portion Qi Zi 杞子 (Goji Berries)

4 slices Ginger

 

Instruction :

Rub mix spice on the chicken body and marinate for 3 hours. (Can marinate overnight)

Preheat your oven to 200 degrees Celsius (400F)

Place the chicken on to the baking paper, arrange the drumstick, place Ginger, Dong Quai and Qi Zi on top. 

Pour in 4 spoon of water if you prefer to have more gravy 

Wrap the aluminum foil.

Put in to the oven and bake for 60 minutes. 

 

Prepare Chicken Drumstick for marinate

1/2 pack of Ipoh Salted Chicken Spices Mix

Rub the whole drumstick body 
 
 Ginger, Dong Quai and Qi Zi

Add some water for better gravy 
 
  
Wrap and prepare to bke
 
Bake for 1 hour
 
Ready to serve
